Spicy Lime Daiquirí

辛辣的石灰代基裡酒
Peppery Daquiri
  • 1 tsp. crushed ginger
  • 6 oz. golden rum
  • 1.5 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp. simple syrup

This spicy version of a daquiri gets its heat from the ginger, but chili pepper is a prettier garnish. Accept NO substitutes for the fresh lime juice! …and because you’re looking for a specific balance of the sweet and tart, you may need to adjust the syrup amount based on your limes. Best to make a test first. It’s a pretty small drink at 4 oz. per glass, so serve it in something cute.

Infuse ginger in the rum for about 30 seconds, then strain well into shaker with the remaining ingredients and a hefty amount of ice. Shake well! Strain into glasses. This recipe makes two.
